Alexander Youth Etiquette for Success (Y.E.S.)

The Alexander Youth Etiquette for Success (Y.E.S.), named after Alexander Hurd, the

father of Annette Hurd-Runcie, co-owner and operator of Pa-Nash EuroSoul Catering &

Events, is a non-profit that aims to empower youth within the urban community. They

do this by providing social and professional etiquette programs that will better prepare

youths for their career aspirations and to become a positive influence within their

community.

The Y.E.S Initiative recruits 6 young girls and boys yearly for a 12 month intensive

program. It is compacted with etiquette training and empowerment seminars with

credible guest speakers and successful professionals. Alexander Y.E.S. also plan to place

each youth in a small business within the community where they can acquire business

etiquette. With Pa-Nash EuroSoul being located in Rosedale, the hope is that this

organization will build a positive platform within the community and foster these young

men and women as leaders that will continue to enrich this community after each

passing generation.

When Annette’s parents passed away, she chose to honor what they’ve always thought

was important and that is “to always help others”. This initiative will not only help those

chosen young adults, but it will help this community as a whole. Our goal is to “uplift the

community 12 youth at a time”, she stated passionately.

ALEXANDER Y.E.S. Mission Statement

The mission of Alexander Youth Etiquette Success is to promote the development of

young people in achieving their physical, intellectual, and social potential by:

• Providing progressive training that empower and inspire youth during High

School

• Fostering a commitment that will inspire youths to promote friendships, and

strong interpersonal skills

• Creating business mentorship opportunities

• Reasserting a sense of hope in their future and increase the value of themselves

and for their community.

Alexander Y.E.S Vision Statement

Alexander Youth Etiquette Success provides young men and women positive

influences, social and professional skills so they are productive, thriving participants in

their community.
