Migrants Under the Bridge Report In Houston Texas.

EdeYouth team with Nadine Monrency-Mohs from Jaymore Realty, her brother Ramsey landed 9/25 in Houston Texas.

We dropped our personal belongings at the hotel went to pick-up the U-Haul truck to go to walmart. We headed to (NACC) National Association of Christian Churches, 16605 Air Center Blvd Houston Texas 77032.

When we arrived, people were coming in from different States to help. We started talking to a Pastor from Shekinah Glory Ministry who was able to walk us in.

There were other organizations on sites, braiding hair, providing haircuts, serving food, purchasing tickets, reviewing immigration documents. Families were sitting at the tables. Many mothers with children, all the men there had their wives or the mother of their child(ren). All other nationalities who were married to Haitian men were alone. They insured that the husband was deported back to Haiti. Husbands, and wives were robbed and raped by the Panamanians.  Children 10 and up were taken from their parents, raped and brought back. Heartbroken. Many people died crossing the river. There are a lot of kids being held by social services in Texas. EdeYouth is asking you to start becoming certified foster parents, so that when Texas releases them to us in NY, we are able to place them quickly.

Edeyouth organization helped provide funding to five parents, a total of $455 three at $100, one at $105 and one at $50.00. We bought many tickets for families. We Purchased clothes, diapers, wipes for babies.

We translated, gave out baby masks, distributed donation and met with program directors learning how to assist effectively.

We joined an initiative called DREP,

The Disaster Relief Emergency Preparedness with Assembywomen Farah Louis, Dr Mona Lisa and Ritha Pierre to help our brothers and sisters. There are still people in ICE detention centers in Texas.  We are adding money to their commissary so they may eat. They are being given tortilla chips with black beans everyday.
